What is your policy about babies and children? How old must my child be and do I still need to purchase a ticket for him/her?

The babes in arms policy is in effect for select shows only. That is any child under 24 months is permitted to sit on a parent's lap, provided the parent has purchased a ticket. Children aged 25 months and above must have their own ticket. Meaford Hall expects that parents with disruptive children will remove the child from the Opera House to avoid disrupting other patrons. Do you have discounts for children, infants, seniors and students? What about groups?

Can I exchange or refund my tickets?

Refunds/exchanges are not permitted.

How do I reserve my tickets without purchasing them?

Meaford Hall does not hold tickets without payment. Tickets may be purchased online or by phone with Visa or Mastercard.

Are seats for shows first come, first serve?

The majority of shows are reserved seating. Once you purchase a ticket that seat becomes sold and is no longer available. Please note the balcony is general admission.

How can I purchase a Balcony ticket? and are Balcony tickets a different price?

The Balcony does not go on sales until the main floor sells out. Balcony tickets are the same price as main floor seats.

Is there parking available?

There is a municipal parking lot adjacent to Meaford Hall. Parking is free of charge.

How many seats does the Opera House hold?

The Opera House holds a total of 300 seats.

Is the building wheelchair accessible?

The only area not wheelchair accessible is the Opera House Balcony.

How do I book wheelchair seats?

Wheelchair seats are available in rows A and M. Please contact the Box Office at 1.877.538.0463 for purchase.

What happens if I arrive late?

Latecomers will be admitted at the sole discretion of Meaford Hall staff during a suitable break in the performance.

Can I take pictures of videos?

No, flash photography and video is not permitted.

When should I arrive for a show?

The Box Office, Galleries and bar, open one hour prior to the scheduled showtime. Please feel free to browse the Galleries until the Opera House opens. The Opera House generally opens 15 minutes prior to the performance time.

Can I volunteer at Meaford Hall?

Yes! Meaford Hall welcomes volunteers for front of house operations and promotional activities. Please contact the Box Office at 1.877.538.0463 for information and to pick up a volunteer application form.
