519-538-0463 / info@meafordhall.ca THE MEAFORD HALL AND CULTURE FOUNDATIONFollowing the renovation of Meaford Hall, a group of dedicated volunteers banded together to provide for ongoing fundraising initiatives as well as launching the initial season at the multi-million dollar facility. The Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation was formed. The Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation is an incorporated, not-for-profit volunteer organization with federally granted charitable status. It is accountable solely to its donors and to the Canadian Revenue Agency. Responsibility for managing and running the Foundation is assumed by a 6-member volunteer Board of Directors. During its first year of operation The Foundation brought a series of small festivals to Meaford Hall, providing many genres of entertainment from drama to comedy to country music. Now with the pump primed, the Foundation is narrowing its focus to the launch of new initiatives and fundraising activities. Funds raised may support capital costs, equipment purchases, and programs for Meaford Hall, as well as additional community projects that fall within the Foundation mandate.
The Meaford Hall & Culture Foundation works with local groups to ensure that Meaford Hall is a viable, accessible and welcoming centre for the community as well as the premier location in Southern Georgian Bay for arts and culture.
